1956 Oldmobile 88 w/ Rocket V8 1956 Olds Super 88 w/ 4v factory V8 (power pack option ?) Hit the key, and it fires right up, idles great and drives well for its age. Brakes have had a few hoses and misc pieces recently changed to driving it safer. But to make it a daily driver or before taking it out for cruise nite with the family Id go over the whole car a little more to be safe. Ive been driving it up to the store and back for the last fewweeks a few times a week.Everyone loves it and you cant drive stop anywhere without people coming over to check it out. A very solid Az car thats very original from front to back I believe the paint to be original too. With options from the factory like: Jetaway automatic trans / ps / pb / 2 tone paint and more.The factory radio and clock still work !! Back in the 80s the motor was rebuilt and since then, has had only about 5k miles put on it. Its been in under a carport most of its life. Az has been hard on the interior and paint but the car hasvery little rust thanks to being in Az so long. All the stainless is in very nice shape , I found 1 small dent in on section.Trunk is solid and complete, under the hood is very detailed and looks great, Head and taillights work too.Front windshield does have a crack. Chrome on the dash looks like a 50s juke box and is in amazing shape, but the seats and rest of the interior showing their age a bit. Below youll find over 100 pics all thru-out the car showing as much detail as possible. If it doesnt meet reserve, Ill just keep it for a while. Either way it would be a great car to restore one way or another. There you have it, probably The BEST represented 56 on Ebay. Personally Id restore the interior and suspension some and not paint it right away. Driving around with the patina as is still looks great ! Forget the expensive other 56 GM cars out there for sale this car has as much character for much less $$ to spend. Dont miss out, our reserve is FAIR.
