You are bidding on a 1965 Dodge Dart GT convertible, with a rare "L" code 273 V8 engine and automatic transmission. It has power steering and manual brakes. The brakes were recently rebuilt and a new gas tank installed. It has manual top, bucket seats and a floor consol. The car has had 1 repaint about 10 years ago by a previous owner. I believe the top was put on at time also. It is still pretty nice, but not brand-new looking. The rear window is nice and clear, but has some overspray long the bottom form when the car was painted. The paint was basecoat/clearcoat in the original color. It is still very nice, but shows a little age in places. The trunk is rust free and has the original paint still in it. The previous owner told it it had minor rust in the typical places that he had repaired with new metal. The floor was repaired in 1 area. I would consider the paint good driver quality. The previous owner also had the interior re-done. However it is not exactly like the original pattern. The rally whels and tires are in good condition. I had the bumpers, door handles, emblems etc re-chromed. The tail lite housings are original and should be re-chromed at some point to be as nice as the rest of the car. The engine compartment was detailed with the engine in the car. It has new hoses and fluids. I runs and drive good. I took it on a 300 mile trip just 2 weeks ago. It ran out great with no issues. The only thing I know of that needs fixed is the gas guage does not register full when the tank is really full. It only registers about half full. The car shows 55k. The title shows 78k "actual" miles. I have no idea how this happened. Possibly a typo by the DMV? I can look into it next week, but no guarantee I can fix it. Just thought everyone should know, in case it makes a difference to them. Quite honestly, it drives like a 55k car. very tight with no rattles.Good luck bidding
