For sale is my '47 MG. This is a matching numbers California car that has been off the road for decades. I had this car listed last year but had to withdraw it because of numerous time wasters. I have set a very reasonable reserve. Due to various house moves and other life events I have not got around to finishing this restoration. But all of the hard work has been done and it now needs an enthusiastic new owner to make it into a lovely car. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone. The car was painted about nine years ago, all parts painted individually (body off chassis, etc.) and then assembled. Since then there have been some chips and scratches as the car was moved around. The body has no rust and no rot in the wood. It has new floor boards and new seat runners. The gas tank has two tiny pinholes so it will need to be repaired and painted. The engine was rebuilt many years ago before I bought the vehicle and has zero driven miles although I have had it running. To complete the restoration the wiring loom needs to be put in place and a new one comes with the car. Also the upholstery will need to be installed and again a new kit comes with the car (door panels, piping, leather seat coverings, etc.). E-mail me with any questions before bidding.
