I am listing this for a friend. He purchased this locally 1973 and sold it in 1978. Later he and his wife found it stored and bought it back. For the most part the car has been stored for the last 30 years in a barn. It was started and driven out to be rinsed off with a water hose NOT washed, waxed, or oiled. This car has definitly not been detailed or had anything covered up or hidden. A couple days later these pictures were taken. This car will clean up easy. The paint was recoated once years ago but not any body work to the best of our knowledge. The bumpers and all of the chrome are original. The doors and hoods open and close perfectly. The top is original and looks good for not being oiled.There is a crack on the driver side arm rest and the driver side seat was ripped in the lower corner by something years ago. The motor runs very smooth and is a 429 ThunderJet 4V with the HP DOVE-C heads. The auto trans. works after warming up a litle, then is fine. This developed over the years in the barn. He purchased a trans. filter which is included but not installed. The exhaust was replaced and seems to be good. The carpet is in good condition. The headliner is in good to perfect condition. The glass is goood with some small scratches. The car has the front side lamps that come on with the turn signals. This would be a great car to restore or clean up and drive!! I just started the car today (Sunday) to check the AC. It started as soon as I turned the key. The compresser turned on for the AC and it appeared to be working but low on freon. One line was warm and one was cool. The windows work. the passenger is slower. I do not see any rust on the body or frame. The car was undercoated originally and was waxed and stored in dry barns. Full payment is required with in 7 days of close of auction. After funds have cleared, we will work with shippers to meet auto transporter.
