Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE I just moved to Chicago where I work, and thus, I have no use for my car anymore. I purchased the car on 6/24/2009 from Laurel Audi of Westmont. The dealership provided a clean Carfax at that time (no accidents since I have owned it either), and I believe the previous owner was the only owner, so this car has had a total of 2 owners including myself. The car had 102,498 miles when I purchased it, and currently has 127,114. The car runs great! The Carfax indicated that the previous owned did regular service work at the dealership, and I have done regular oil changes as well (next oil change is due at 129,271 miles). The only repair I have had to do is replace the transmission shifter switch (electrical component). The interior is in excellent condition. The floor mats have some minor wear. Battery was recently tested at AutoZone and passed all tests. Heat works great and the brakes are good. Full disclosure: the car has a rust spot on the back right of the trunk lid, and another spot that is starting to rust, but overall, the body is in good shape with minor scratches and door dings, which I would think is pretty common for a 1997. Also, the rear windows don’t function and the AC unit started making a clicking noise so I stopped using it. It still pumps out cold air but the noise caused me to be cautious and not run it. Over the past summer, I just drove around with the front 2 windows down and the sunroof open and I never had an issue with feeling hot while driving. The right plastic part on the cup holder in the front is also broken, and the temperature gauge on the display above the steering wheel never worked correctly since I bought the car (you’ll notice in the pic that it read -40). As pictured, there is a full size brand new spare tire. Also, the car was recently washed and had the interior cleaned out, and I will pass along the receipt which allows for a free car wash and interior clean within the next 30 days. NADA retail price is $6,400 (http://www.nadaguides.com/Cars/1997/BMW/5-SERIES/Sedan-4D-528i/Values) but I do acknowledge the rear windows issue and the AC noise, so willing to sell below this price.
