Clean Southern car- bought new in Florida. Was a tow-behind and licensed in Montana to avoiding paying sales tax on the pricey motor home it was tethered to. Major service with receipts provided- 2/08 - 132,321 miles -New Injection pump and serpentine belt. 5/08-134,478- New clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing. 7/09 155,250 miles -Matched set Michelin Primacy MXV Radials 205/55R16 ( tires from Costco - receipts for regular rotation and balance ) still have 75% TREAD LIFE. 3/11 -173,104 miles- New Front brake pads, rear pads and rotors. Regular oil changes with Shell Rotella Synthetic oil. Great mileage 45-48 MPG without hypermiling. Heated seats hot , A/C cold , all other electrics work including sunroof. Issues- Check engine light on for last 4 years- code scan - Glow plug sensor -since it has never failed to start in even sub-freezing weather never repaired - glow plugs work just not all four. Key fobs( 2 provided ) do not work- need reprogramming. Needs new shocks and struts car will shake over bumps, smooth otherwise. Door panels - vinyl failing around door handle - very common in New Beetle - look at other's on E-bay for comparison. Sunroof cover does not return automatically when sunroof closes- must slide by hand. Deposit of $500 is due via paypal within 24 hours of winning the auction. The balance is due in cash upon pick up of the vehicle. Vehicle must be picked up within 7 days of the end of the auction unless other arrangements are made with the seller.
