1978 Toyota LandCruiser FJ 40, Sky Blue-NOT MINT-SEE PICTURES!!! THIS VEHICLE IS NOT RUST FREE BUT DOES NOT HAVE COMPROMISING ISSUES, SIDE PANELS HAVE SOME FILLER AND NEED WORK TO RESTORE TO ORIGINAL CONDITION, NEEDS NEW PAINT JOB ON REAR PANELS AND DOORS. RUST IN REAR BUMPER LIGHT WELLS, BUBBLE IN PAINT UNDER FRONT GLASS. SMOG PUMP DISCONNECTED. DIME SIZED OIL LEAK IF VEHICLE SIT TOO LONG. That being said this is a great running FJ and despite its age and level of restoration looks really good, but IS NOT GOOD ON GAS-the reason I'm selling. I bought to use as daily driver averages 12 MPG or less. This vehicle is geared very low, 4th gear and 45 mph gets best mileage, but I've has it to 65mph no problem! I honestly would drive this FJ across the county (albeit very slowly). All interior indicator lights work, all exterior lights work, wipers work, horn works, tires have 95% tread (practically new) and aftermarket wheels, glass is clear with good seals, could use new seals on doors but doesn't leak! Top comes off. Heater and vents work, cigarette lighter works, all gauges work, buying new battery tomorrow (4/29), interior is in great shape but has carpet on floor which will only be removed by buyer-not me, all seats near mint as is dash. One rear seat belt frozen but is original like the rest. No AC, no power steering. 4WD works great! This FJ starts up great everytime and is a blast to drive, definitely built for the off road experience but, PLEASE LOOK CAREFULLY AT ALL PHOTOS - ANY DISCREPANCIES HAVE BEEN POINTED OUT OR LISTED- THIS IS NOT A CHANCE FOR YOU BUY AND INSPECT AFTER THE FACT - IF YOU WANT IT BID, IF NOT-KEEP LOOKING AND DO NOT WASTE MY TIME!!! This is an excellent vehicle for the price but if your looking for a near mint FJ keep moving!!! NON PAYERS WILL BE REPORTED TO EBAY. INSPECTIONS ARE WELCOME ON YOUR DIME AND BEFORE AUCTION CLOSE!!! Vehicle has small lien which can be handled easily. Original Virginia title will go with vehicle. Tennessee title will be mailed to winning bidder once bank note is cleared. Vehicle will not leave my custody until payment has been verified-no exceptions! $500 deposit due within 24 hours of auction close or vehicle may be offered to next higher bidder.
