Vehicle Detail

You are viewing a 1996 Ford Bronco I have for sale. I bought it from a railroad company for the railroad wheels that were installed on it. I drove it home 30 miles and it ran good. They bought it new in 1996. The tag on the door reads that the VIN is: 1FMEV15N1TLB78275. It also reads that the GVWR is 6300 pounds. It has a 5.0 liter V-8 engine that starts right up and runs good. I have driven it some here on the farm and into the diner and back for lunch several times and it seems like a good running truck. I have noticed a whining sound from some sort of pollution pump. It is belt driven, and if it was me, I would just remove it. The transmission is an automatic and it shifts and works good as well. The battery does not stay up. If you jump start it, it charges up, and you can then turn it off and it will restart fine. But if you leave it overnight, the battery drains down and it will not have enough juice to start the next day. It may just need a new battery, but I think it needs to have the railroad track inspection computer and related wires and boxes and things removed, I think they drain it down. There also are a lot of loose wires hanging down from where they removed their railroad radios. The four wheel drive works great. After I hosed it off and took the photos, I drove it up to a great big pile of topsoil I have behind the barn and I drove up on it until it began to spin. Then I stopped, put it in four wheel drive, and off it went again without spinning at all. It works smoothly. As stated before, I needed the tires and wheels that were on it, so I removed them and installed a set of wheels off a F150 Ford. They are size 255/60R15 and are actually rather good tires for used ones. They all have good tread and stay up. The tag on the door reads that originally the truck had 235/75-R15 tires and wheels. The interior of the thing is nothing fancy. The floor mats are worn. There are holes on the dash and the floor from where the radios and other equipment was mounted. The railroad company added some sort of electronic track inspection system to it, so it has all that stuff in the way. They also added a large wooden console to hold some of it between the front seats. The seats still sit fine. The gauges all work and it holds good oil pressure and does not get hot. The best thing about the whole bronco is that it has COLD AIR CONDITIONING! I was surprised at that! One strange thing it has that I have never seen is that it has both crank up windows and also electric controls on the same door. Which is a good thing because the drivers door electric window motor spins, but does not move the window, you have to use the hand crank. The passenger side electric controls work, but someone removed the hand crank. There is also a button on the dash to roll down the back window and it works good. You can also roll down the rear window by turning the key in the tailgate. Then once it is down, there is a tailgate latch you use to fold down the tailgate - see photos. The Bronco has 273,000 miles. It has lots of rust on the wheel wells, and I am sure other places as well. It has dings, dents, scratches, and what not all over it as you can see in the fine photos! Do not buy this thinking it is something fancy! It will make a fun four wheel drive to play around with. You are welcome to come try it out before the auction ends. NO RESERVE! I am starting it out at only 99 cents and the highest bidder at the end of the auction will be the new owner. Local pick up I am a cattle farmer here in Mid-Missouri, so I am flexible about when you want to come and get items you have purchased from me, but I try and keep a schedule for my families benefit. I ask that you come between 9:00 in the morning and 4:00 at night. I am not available on Sundays whatsoever - that is God and family day, so don't ask! Just because I am a farmer does not mean that I am here everyday, I travel around to auctions and surplus sales and am gone several times a week. So don't do like some folks have in the past and drive 800 miles to get here and find out I am gone. You must contact me before you just show up! My granny always said that showing up unannounced was rude - you have to give people notice so they can get presentable. Trucking/airport pick up I have a local trucking company that I highly recommend that you call if you need a quote on having larger items like machinery and large trucks hauled to you. They are DAB Transport and their phone number is: (816)230-4135. They are located in Odessa, Missouri, and are just all around good folks to deal with. They are equiped to deal with about anything you need hauled, including tall bucket trucks and heavy machinery. I am located 100 miles West of the St. Louis airport, 10 miles off Interstate 70 at the Kingdom City exit #148 in Fulton, Mo, 65251. If you buy a vehicle from me and want to drive it home, there is a nice shuttle service that runs between the Kansas City (KCI) airport and the St. Louis (STL) airport. It is called: MO-X. They make a stop at my exit on I-70 at a McDonalds restaurant to pick up and drop off passengers. I can meet you in Kingdom City with your vehicle purchase so you can drive it home. There is also a local liscense bureau where you can buy a one way trip permit temporary tag if you want one. Payment I require payment in full within one week of auctions end. Once it is paid for, there is no hurry for you to pick it up - take six months if need be! If you don't come get it after six months have passed since the end of the auction, it will be resold, and my wife gets the proceeds. If you have a legitimate reason why you need to wait longer than six months to pick up your purchase, contact me and we will work something out. If you have any questions, you can e-mail or call me at (573) 219-6611. Thanks for looking and please check out my other auctions! Contact me If you have any questions about this item, or about delivery or shipping, you can call me or email me. Don't be shy! The only stupid question is the one you are afraid to ask. I prefer email as it lets me answer questions at night when I am not busy and it gives me time to find the right answer to your questions. I also run tractors and skid loaders here on the farm and a lot of times I do not hear my phone. I also live in a rural area and in a lot of places I do not get phone service. One of the places I do not get good coverage is in my shop! So if you can't get me on the phone, try back later or better yet, send me an email and I will get back with you. You can send me an email through ebay or you can call me. Ebay will not longer let me list on here my direct email address but if you take my ebay name and add: @gmail.com on the end, you have it. My cell phone number is: (573)219-6611 Check out my other items! Be sure to add me to your favorites list!
