This is the perfect car to turn into a race car or some other Bavarian hot rod. Jeff Tighe of TP Motorsports was looking for a BMW M3 (S54) drivetrain to transplant into an early 70’s BMW CS project. Initially, he was looking for a wrecked car but just couldn’t find anything. So, he bought this car from a local SoCal resident. It was almost a shame to take the engine and tranny out of this car as it was a very nice driver. In fact, it was in amazing condition. The owner of this M3 had babied the car and always took care of it. It was never tracked or abused but simply used as a daily driver.
The previous owner gave the car the CSL Competition package look with factory Competition wheels and a carbon fiber CSL rear deck lid. Furthermore, he installed Koni shocks with H&R springs.
This E46 includes basically everything except the following: engine, harness, DME, starter, power steering pump, transmission, shifter, linkage, and gas pedal. Everything else is all there including full suspension, a/c, heater, stock exhaust, cats, cooling system, drive shaft, and full interior.
This car could be parted out for more than the asking price.
