Up for auction is a nice 1928 Studebaker Street Rod project that needs finishing. All that is left is the interior and canvas top. New paint has just been added and only 24 miles have been put on the car since. This car has been a Street Rod for several years and has been driven about 17,000 miles, with it's 307 Iroc Camaro motor, Camaro rear end and 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive. Power rack & pinion / Mustang II front end, with disk brakes makes this Studebaker a great driver. It's running Boyd Coddington wheels with low profile tires and has a Locar shifter, Cadillac tilt & telescoping steering column and all new gauges. The car has a heater, all new tinted glass and all the chrome work has just been redone. You can drive this little Studebaker to eny show and have the only one like it. It's a very rare car, especialy as a Street Rod. This car runs and drive good and is very dependable. Some smoke was seen coming out of the right side exaust but maby that is from sitting the last cupple of years during its rebuild. The owner is moving out of the country so has to sale.
