Vehicle Detail

Runs and drives great, BUT...my mechanic said he didn't want to put it on the lift to fix some exhaust noise, so I'm selling this for parts. Good tires and brakes. Clean interior. Strong engine and sport automatic transmission. Last car to have mechanical four wheel steering. Having bought some original Honda parts ($$$) I know it wouldn't take much and this car would pay for itself. Have never charged the A/C but told it was working when I bought it. Has original owners manual and CD of complete shop manual. I feel like this car could be driven home but can't recommend it for daily use. On Apr-27-12 at 15:31:21 PDT, seller added the following information: Question Someone wrote and asked about other issues with the Prelude. I responded but didn't check the box so other buyers could read it. Here it is: Rust is the problem. I assumed that since I couldn't see any holes in the floorboards I was OK, but the points where you jack up the car are apparently kind of soft. I don't drive the car in the winter because my road requires 4WD so I've only shuffled it around in the driveway for the past 6 months. I know it has a slow rim leak on the passenger front side, the cruise control vacuum hose needs to be replaced, bushings in the front stabilizer bar need to be replaced, battery only holds a charge for a few days (of course I haven't been driving it), trunk must have a small leak because there's a hole at the bottom of the spare tire well and there's a slow leak out of the power steering pump (I have more of the special P/S fluid it takes.) I think it needs a tune-up and of course there's a noise from the exhaust. I may be forgetting an issue I noticed in the fall when I parked it but those are the ones I remember. whitneys-dad - whitneys-dad
