1958 Ford Fairlane 500 Here's your chance to own a wonderful looking two-door 1958 Ford Fairlane 500. This car has spent most of it's time indoors and is amazingly solid. There has been no Bondo discovered in the car anywhere, and the body lines are, well...amazing for 1958. The car runs and drives but has been in storage for six years, it will need servicing. It will easily drive onto a trailer or transport truck. I believe the motor is a 332 Four Barrel Interceptor, and has a Factory three speed over drive. The car has been repainted years ago, it is a factory yellow car. (See trim tag for paint code etc.) The car has a new carburetor, fuel pump, new full exhaust system, brand new fuel tank and sending unit. Oh...and the battery is nearly new. The tires all the way around are BF Goodrich and seem to also have been replaced in recent times. The glass is all good with no cracks or stars. The chrome and trim are very nice but not perfect. Inside the car has an older recover job on the seats and the headliner is there but not very nice. The dash board is uncut and still sports the original radio and clock. All in all...this is going to make someone a really nice car to enjoy. It's NOT easy to find one like this that's NOT a rust bucket.
