Vehicle Detail
One well used and loved Saturn SL1, 4 door sedan with clean interior. The vehicle averages about 38 miles per gallon can reach 40/41 mpg. 1.9L 4 cylinder engine. Inspected last September, been in use until this week, March 26. Manual windows and locks, power steering and brakes, intermittant wipers. Known issues: 1. All season tires will need to be replaced soon. 2. Snow tires on seperate rims, currently on vehicle, at least one will need replacement and they have become noisy. 3. Sun roof is inoperable, believe it is the motor/gearbox. 4. Paint blemishes/scratches on front and rear bumper. 5. Secondary air supply into exhaust stream error code has popped up but has gone away again for now. Additional information based on questions from the first listing: The manual transmission's clutch doesn't slip. Our driveway is steep so the clutch gets tested every time we return home. Engine is original and untouched other than spark plugs, accessory belt and of course oil and oil filter changes. There is no timing belt, it is a chain and therefore does not need to be changed. Comment from a mechanic is that the guides wear out first if the oil isn't maintained. Shocks are original. Rear bearings are original, front bearings have been replaced once on one side and twice on the other, would have to look through the repair history to figure out which is which. One C-V shaft has been replaced. Transmission is original and untouched including the clutch. Instrument cluster has been replaced once. Alternator and power steering pump has been replaced once. Battery is about a year old. Bottom line the car has been reliable. Sold as is! Would like it picked up the weekend following the close of auction.
