Vehicle Detail
Up for sale, formerly the fastest mid-engine fiero. Belonged to Pat Ciarcia. The car at one time ran a 10.3 in the 1/4. Pics + info ==> http://www.v8archie.com/pat.htm First the BAD. Pat's motor is no longer in it. I believe the motor in it is a stock Chevy 305 that has a slight rod knock. It has been sitting for two years, and the first attempt to start it failed. Included is all the parts needed to repair. It needs a heavy detail/polish to get it back to looking like the photos (vs how it now sits) Needs windshield wipers + motors Needs new headlight motors Must be towed, and all the parts included "may" not be able to fit inside the car + trunk (since so many racing parts are included! The GOOD: Fuel cell Full roll cage. 2" front lowering spindles (installed) Modified Fiero automatic Transmission TH125 Archie's V8 kit used/installed Lightweight aluminum racing seats. Driver seat pictured, but there is a passenger seat that need minor stitch work on the cover. New blue 5 pt. harnesses. Lots of good drag parts and hardware (nice light aluminum wheels) Comes with another Chevy block. I believe it to be a 327. I got it from a friends project build. Included, new Speed Pro pistons, timing chain, forged and ground crank, Clevite 77 bearings and heads of some sort. Full NOS bottle + system installed (may need a new valve) Stock Fiero wheels are on it right now, but also included are the drag wheels w/ slicks used to run the 10.3 quarter mile. The tires have plenty of runs left in them. Straight and solid frame (no rust rot). Free and CLEAR TITLE Now the crazy part... Starting bid w/ no reserve is $1500! To build a similar car, you would have to add a zero to that! (Not to mention the hundreds of hours of labor) I was going to make it a daily driver, but it Just didn't make practical sense to undo things that made it go as fast as it has! Will ship within the US after payment has cleared using postal (USPS) MO's have cleared. Buyer will be responsible for their own shipping charges and company agreement. For sale "as-is"/"where-is"Vehicle and extras are located in Clinton, MO.The winner must message phone # immediately after auction end. Feel free to message questions with phone # for call backs.Trust in my feedbackOn Apr-19-12 at 21:09:07 PDT, seller added the following information:This addition is to clarify some minor things and answer some questions: 1) Not interested in trades, don't ask. 2) Due to a new motor being swapped, I do not believe the NOS plate for the jets is installed. It probably went with the other motor, or will be in a box. 3) The full racing ball is not a full 10pt racing cage. Under NHRA rules, this allows you to run as fast as a 10 secord flat 1/4 before a full 10pt cage is required. 4) The extra set of drag wheels come with 15 of the 20 lug nuts for them. The other 5 might be found in a box. They are just being thrown in as an extra. 5) It must be towed, so bring a come-a-long or whatever tools needed to get it on your trailer. When it has power, it just isn't starting. You can hear the fuel pump priming, and all accessories work. 6) Will not part out. At this price, you can pick it up, take all the valuable parts, swap cradles into your auto, and still get your money back from re-selling the car alone. 7) The passenger side needing stitching was incorrect. Some of the padding under the cover has worn or scraped off while it was stored. It would just be a few dollars to fix with adhesive.
