***PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS ITEM UNLESS YOU HAVE A POSITIVE FEEDBACK SCORE AND ARE 100% SURE YOU WILL PAY FOR THE CAR SHOULD YOU BE THE WINNING BIDDER. THANK YOU!*** Up for a no reserve auction is a 2000 Ford Focus ZTS. Winning bidder takes it. It is certainly a driveable car as my wife used it as her daily driver until we recently bought another car. It is a nice little car that's good on gas. It just needs a few things done and it would make a very affordable car for some one. We maintained it regularly and fixed problems as they arose. More recently the car has needed some work that we decided not to fix. Those items are detailed below. I want to be completely honest with my description. The car is what it is. I'm not looking to rip any one off, but I still think this car runs well enough for some one to drive it instead of just junking it. The engine runs fine and is pretty peppy. The automatic transmission works fine, but is sometimes jerky (mentioned below). The front tires are at 80%, and the rear are at 20%. The engine mounts were just recently replaced. The timing belt was replaced in 2010 ($1,000+ bill). The vehicle has a valid NJ inspection until 2/2013. Issues to be considered: The brakes recently started to squeak. I think the rears need to be changed. The A/C doesn't blow cool. I'm guessing it needs to be re-charged but I'm not sure. There is some wear and tear on the interior and exterior. The leather seats have a few issues like small tearing or coming apart at the seams. The exterior has typical wear and tear. There are a couple of dings and small surface rust spots, found mostly on the hood. The hood is very hard to open and close. The cable needs adjusting. I just never got around to fixing it. There is rattling in the front passenger side when going over bumps in the road. I'm assuming it's suspension related. The strut may be worn out. The automatic transmission works fine but does jerk a little bit when shifting. I found this to be common in Ford's of this era. Power locks don't work. It keeps on blowing fuses whenever we replace them. Trunk button doesn't work inside the car. I believe this is on the same circuit at the power locks, which is why it doesn't work. You just need to manually use the key to open the trunk. The radio works fine but the CD player is very tempermental. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. This is all that I know of that is wrong with the car. Again, the car runs well, it just needs a little bit of work to be a reliable car for some one. Please ask any questions you might have. I have the clear title in hand and ready to transfer to winning bidder. The winning bidder is expected to pay for and pickup the car within 1 week of the auction ending. Thanks for looking! ***PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS ITEM UNLESS YOU HAVE A POSITIVE FEEDBACK SCORE AND ARE 100% SURE YOU WILL PAY FOR THE CAR SHOULD YOU BE THE WINNING BIDDER. THANK YOU!***
