You are bidding on a 1998 saturn that has been used as a commutuer car for the last 5 yrs that I've owned it. I put about 150 miles on it daily, all highway. I am still driving it so may be a few more miles by end of auction. I will begin by listing all known issues. Engine runs good but could probably use a tune up, last one was about 150K. Sometimes hard to get into 1st gear when downshifting unless you come to a complete stop, I learned to live with it. Check engine light has been on and off intermittently since I've had the car. Sometimes engine idles high, don't know why. Uses about a quart of oil per month but does not burn it. It looks like there is a tiny leak by drain plug but I don't wan't to overtighten it. It will need at least one tie rod end soon, you can hear a click when you turn the wheel. Car is PA inspected until end of July. Has typical Saturn rattles and vibrations. Tires will need to be replaced soon. There is some rust on right passenger rear door sill plate, typical for these cars, see pics. Body is good. A/C, heat and pwr door locks work great. Has Am/Fm tape player and 6 Cd player in trunk with remote up front. I never used cd player but remote works and player seems to operate. Scratches are typical for a 14 yr old car. Has two keys and remotes for locks and trunk. I've averaged about 35 mpg with this car. I know It sounds like a lot but It has never left me stranded or broken down and is great in snow. I am buying a newer saturn so this one has to go. Just want to make sure new owner has no surprises. If you have a little mechanical ability you can have a decent car for cheap.
