Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1969 MGB. I have owned the car for about 11years and have always kept it in a garage. The bad news about the car is the body. I don't think it would be worth restoring as the body is pretty rusty. I was told it was driven down from up north. If you are looking for a complete car to drive around town and don't plan to restore it, then this is the car for you. The engine runs well. The car has the original Aluminum hood. It has a dent in the front edge. The following items have been replaced recently; Battery, Tires, Fuel Pump, Gas Tank, Rebuilt Brake system, Rebuilt Starter, Rebuilt Altinator, New heater control valve, new exauhst system starting at header flange, etc...I bought the car to use as a parts car for a project I have. Instead I started driving it and have continued to enjoy it the way it is. Now I need the room in my garage more than I need the car. Please e-mail me for additional pictures or information. The car is in Auburn Alabama. I have driven it to Birmingham and back 4 times but if you plan to drive it home, do it at your own risk. If you aren't happy with it once you see the car or feel it has been misrepresented you are not obligated to buy it but I do ask that you pay the listing fee. Alabama does not issue titles to Cars that were manufactured before 1975. If you live in another state you shouldn't have any problems registering it with a bill of sale. I have sold two other antique vehicles this way and it wasn't a problem (Virginia and Florida) On Apr-15-12 at 20:15:10 PDT, seller added the following information: Please see the answer to the questions about the convertable top. The cheapest option would be to just get a tonneau cover for the car. I do still have the frame though if yo uare interested. As far as the car "sagging"...I don't think the whole car sags. The pasanger side door can be hard to open because the bottom of the door post is pretty rotten. This allows the door to sag. and rub against the door strike.
