For Sale is a 1978 Sky Blue Toyota FJ40 Cruiser with removable top. 3rd Owner, purchased locally. This is the strongest running FJ I have driven. This vehicle has had a recent paint job (though not a show car but could be without much investment). It has 4 new Michelin tires, aftermarket wheels, with the original wheel and tire on the back. The interior is solid and the seats and dash are near pristine. This FJ is my daily driver, cranks right up every time, runs strong, and the 4 low would probably climb a tree! The smog pump has been disconnected. All fluids are topped off. The truck does not smoke, rattle, or make unknown (funny) noises while driving. You may find a dime size drop of oil under it after a few days sitting (usually over a 3 day weekend when I'm not driving it). The Roof and liner are in good shape, as well as the glass (clear) and seals around the glass, all doors and hinges work as they should. The interior light above the driver works as well as all dash lights and indicator lights. All exterior lights/brake/turn work. The horn works as well as all pull knobs and heat- no AC. Miles are original but will continue to climb as its my daily driver. There is a lien but can be handled easily and I have the original title. Basically, if you are looking for a strong, nearly original FJ that you want to use for its intended purpose or project-this is it.
