Vehicle Detail

1970 Dodge Challenger SE 440 This car has all original sheet metal and has had a little lower quarter panel work when it was painted in the early 80's It had a light dent in the right front fender that was also repainted and has some bubbles in the paint around the lower front wheel well area. The car was painted the original color, plum craze, the top of the cowl and the lower cowl under the hood has original paint on it. The motor is a 1966 HP 2- 440 magnum from a 67 Dodge R/T. It is all stock but has great power and will spin the back tires on a roll. It has a 727 transmission and shifts very good but not to hard! The rear end is a 355 sure grip, I was told the motor, trans. and rear end all came from a 67 Dodge R/T. The car has power disc brakes, power steering, air conditioning but is not hooked up, AM-FM radio with 3 speaker dash, power tinted windows, rear window defrost, clock, console with slap stick shifter, leather bucket seats, 14" rally wheels, heavy duty rally suspension, light group with rare delayed head lights, interior is all original (no legendary parts here). It comes with a build sheet but no fender tag, it also has window sticker. I have a spare tire and jack but the jack is missing the part that hooks onto the bumper. No trunk mat, no cracks in the original dash pad. The body is originally a 383 big block. The luggage rack was added to the car later. This car has been in storage and has been driven very little since 1979, the dash frame has never been out of the car. This is not a perfect car but it is a very solid car. It is ready to be restored or still in good enough condition if you just want to have fun driving around in it. Any questions you can call Jim at 231-744-5811 I am not interested in overseas offers.
