Up for sale is my 1970 Plymouth Sport Fury S23.....it sports original paint, strobe stripes, and interior. The suspension has been redone and all bushings replaced with poly graphite from performance suspensions. The car was originally a 318 car from the factory but had a 361 big block swapped in with the 727 tranny. The rear is a 8 3/4 sporting 3:55 gears. It has the battery mounted in the trunk with all new 1 gauge cables and new battery. The interior is immaculate with the split front with the "buddy seat" fold down arm rest. The dash is perfect as you can see and is original. It has the factory AM radio but I also have a factory AM 8 Track player with the factory dash bezel face plate. the undercarriage has absolute minimal rust for a 42 year old. There is a new stainless gas tank installed also. Now let's get to the engine....It's is a 361 Big Block MOPAR. As you can see I have relocated the oil filter into a twin filtration system mounted on the radiator crossmember. It has a flex fan performance cooling aluminum fan for optimal cooling. The fuel is delivered through a manual pump through a high performance 125 GPH filter into an Edelbrock 600 CFM carb on top of an Edelbrock Performer Air Gap intake manifold. The spark is from the MSD Blaster II coil through a set of custom Taylor Performance Wires.the heads are 452 casting 88cc chamber heads running stock 1.5:1 stamped steel rockers. The headers are Doug Thorley shorties. The tranny has been serviced and also has a performance filter with chrome cover. I'm telling you, this car was started as a great hot rod project that looks stock from the outside until you lift that big Muscle Bulge Hood. I never got the chance to finish it because of a divorce so there are lots of extra stuff like brand new mufflers, extra KYB shocks, intake, another set of 516 casting closed chamber heads, extra radios , arm rests, and much more. This car is an absolute steel at this price. The S23 and the GT models of the Sport Furys were very low number productions with only 689 of the S23 and 666 of the GT being made. I have the original build sheets as well as lots of historical data on this car to include a letter rom Chrysler Heritage Foundation. Ready to ship anywhere in the world.
