Vehicle Detail
Item up for bid is my 1970 Mustang Convertible. I got it from a customer of mine that bought it with intentions of making a Restomod Shelby clone and lost interest. The car was Originally Red, Black top and Black std int. The original engine was a 302, and C4 Auto. It still retains its original 8 in rear. Options include a Power top, and power steering. As you can see in the pictures, most of the sheet metal is missing, The engine and transmission are long gone as well. What is left of the car is well worth restoring. The shock towers, frame rails, rear torque boxes, rear frame rails, rockers, cowl, pillars and convertible top frame are all in good shape. Most to all Convertible unique items (trim, moldings, etc.) are included with the car. I tested the power top and it still motors up and down. The car has a clear 66,000 mile title. The dash tag, title and buck tag still match. The vin is stamped on the right side but the left was replaced with a Big Block shock tower sometime in its life. For sure, rust replacement needed include the inner rockers, torque boxes, floor pans, quarters, taillight panel and outer wheel housings. Very typical for an unrestored 42 year old car. I am a Mustang Hobbyist; I know these cars fairly well and have nothing to hide. Feel free to ask questions and I have no issues if you would like to see the car in person. I am selling the car at no reserve. I ask that you bring me cash at the time of picking the car up and that you do so within 2 weeks. If you choose to have the car shipped, a personal check will be accepted. The car can be shipped after the check clears the bank.
