68 Porsche 912 This 1968 Porsche 912 is in complete, solid running condition and has been garage-kept since owning the car. Engine was completely rebuilt and body restored and painted over 10 years ago. Since then, the car has been well maintained and driven only in summers. Engine was modified with 86mm Big Bore kit (1750cc disp.), 40IDF Weber Carbs with K&N Air filters and Bosch 050 DISTRIBUTOR with Pertronix Electronic Ignition. Body is straights and rust free. Front pan with suspension mounts and rocker panels were replaced in restoration. Paint has a few minor dings and chips, and the acrylic lacquer finish is showing typical signs of age. Brakes have been completely rebuilt and new Front Bilstein Strut Insert Shocks installed. Car has Fuchs-style alloy wheels and good low mileage tires. Windshield has a minor crack and speedometer has started making a little noise occasionally. Original parts included with car:Solex carbs with air cleaners and associated parts, engine parts, original blaupunkt radio, and original chrome wheels (rusty) with hub caps Car is titled and licensed with current registration in Michigan. Car is sold as is. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick-up, but can help with shipping arrangements. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of auction ending.
