NO RESERVE !!! bidding starts at $1.00 !!!This auction ends next Saturday, April 7th at 12:30 pm ET, 11:30 am CT, 10:30 am MT, and 9:30 am PT HIGHLIGHTS: - Black 1980 Volkswagen Rabbit Cabriolet Convertible with a black top and burgandy interior - 101,385 actual miles - Very nice convertible top that can easily be opened and closed and doesn't leak - Removable Stereo Cassette Player (replaced in 1999) - Clear Title - ISSUES the grill on the front of the car, the pop out half window on the drivers side by the side mirror, and the window handle on the back left seat all come off very easily and need to be fixed. The left front bumper is missing the black plastic part that goes on the end of it. There is a small plastic black piece that goes above the speaker in the driver's door that comes off every time you close the door, needs to be glued back on. The driver's door is missing the lock and a small part of the inside panel is coming off on the inside of the door and needs to be glued back on. The battery is dead and needs to be replaced. One of the battery cables is missing the thing that attaches to the battery. The front right bumper is somewhat loose. Mechanically speaking we know that when a battery is connected to the car the hazard lights work but the car will not start / turn over. We've been told the car may just need a starter but we don't know what else it may need on top of that if anything. As seen in the pictures, there is some minor rust on the car and the both front tires are completely flat and all four tires need to be replaced in our opinion. This car has been sitting in a barn since 2000 until being towed to it's current location a few weeks ago. - Car needs to be mechanically checked out (please bid accordingly because we are not stating this car is mechanically sound). For all we know the car may need a whole new engine even though it does look pretty good, especially for a car this old. But, you may be able to connect a new battery, install a new starter, put two new tires on it, and it may run perfectly. - The VIN Number is correct, 15A0807053, according to Internet research cars manufactured in 1797 (thus being a 1980 model) were the last year of the 10 character VIN Number - We highly suggest any interested party come and see the car in person because this may be a time consuming investment piece or a diamond in the rough and unbelievably great deal. - Please message or email us if you'd like additional pictures (Jordan@JordanVentures.com) PAYMENT: $1.00 is due within 24 hours through PayPal with the remaining balance due in CASH ONLY within ONE WEEK (7) DAYS from the end of the listing.
