Vehicle Detail
I have owned this car since summer of 2008. While it has been in my possession it has not been involved in any accidents or fender benders. I have documents showing that timing chain was replaced @ approximately 126000 miles by a previous owner in October 2006. During my ownership I have replaced the starter, battery, radiator, distributer cap & plug wires, ignition switch, EGR valve, windshield & distributor. I also put a new set of tires on in November 2011. However, the engine is in need of a valve job. It is still my daily driver but I do not wish to put any more money it to it. The paint and clear coat are still in decent shape, not flaking in chunks like most older cars. As you can tell by the photos...there are normal scratches here and there but what can you expect from a car that is 13 years old. Driver seat is power, passenger seat is not. Leather interior is in very good condition. Still has factory radio and it works quite well, I have replaced rear speakers and they all work and none of them are "busted/blown". Sunroof opens fully or tilts up and is fully functional with no leaks. Windows are NOT tinted. Rear defroster works fully. Child safety locks on back doors. Power windows all function up and down without noise or strain. The auto function on the driver window does NOT function and never has for me but the window itself still works. Power adjustable mirrors. Air conditioning will need "charged" for the summer season but is operational. This car is being sold AS-IS! No warranty! Ask all the questions you like and I will do my best to answer. If you want more photos send me an email. And if you want to schedule a viewing or test drive send me a message. On Mar-31-12 at 06:35:55 PDT, seller added the following information: The check engine light is on. Has been on since I bought the car. When I took ownership, I had my mechanic check it out and it was due to the EGR valve. After having that serviced the code it threw was due to an oxygen sensor. I was told it was not a necessary fix so I left it. Last spring I had it looked at again and the code that showed up was a misfire, my mechanic then told me that I had a burnt valve and that it would take approximately $800 to repair. He explained that I could continue the car as it was that I could do no further damage. I have been driving the car for over a year now with a burnt valve.
