Up For Auction~ Selling my 1956 Ford F100! I purchased this truck in 2009 in N. Carolina from the gentleman who performed a frame off restoration in 2007. Truck is being sold pretty much the way I purchased it. 1956 F-100 stepside pickup 390 4v 4-spd OD stick In my opinion this was the best most desired ford f100 produced as it was the last year of the big fender trucks. I believe its a C6 transmission. The truck is very fast. Mechanically sound with no known issues. Cosmetically has some scratches, couple small dings and couple rust bubbles starting on the hood. (Pic attached) Tailgate I believe is original and minor rust issues where it attaches to the bed of truck. (Pic Attached) Passenger door window has a hairline crack that has happened when the window tinter put a hair dryer to it applying window tint. Wood showing signs of water damage in bed but still looks nice. (Pic attached) Undercarriage is sound with no real rust issues that I can see. Tires have 300 miles on them at best BF Goodrich T/As Front are 235 70 r 15 Rear are 255 70 r 15 Lights work 1/2 the time needs wiring to go through or possibly redone. Can not get the brake lights to work. Gas gauge, speedometer, mileage and volt meter gauge works. other inside gauges need checking out. Interior light and added am/fm radio work. Have thousands in receipts that will go with the truck. Best I can say if if you are somewhat local please feel free to inspect prior to auctions end. Otherwise I will do the best I can to answer any questions. I am no motor guy for sure but will do my best to answer anything I can. Thanks for considering our beautiful 56 f100On Apr-03-12 at 13:39:25 PDT, seller added the following information: I really would like to sell this truck here on Ebay without having it sit here forever like so many others I see. I just lowered the reserve to a extremely fair price. I know that someone will get a great deal here at a more than fair price. I am open to hearing realistic offers? Just ask? This is the lowest priced 1956 Ford F100 on Ebay as of today. Thank You!
