Up for auction is a dark blue, extended cab 2005 Ford Ranger Edge. This truck has a 4.0L V6 and is equipped with an electronic 4wd selector and all 4 new BF Goodrich Long Trail T/A tires with approx. 85% tread remaining. The truck currently has about 64,400 miles (very low for this year and model). The oil was properly changed about 500 miles ago (it does not burn any oil). The truck is entirely stock with only two minor modifications. The front brake calipers were painted orange to look "cool" when we changed the brake pads. A Thrush glasspack was installed instead of the stock Ford muffler and the exhaust now exits in front of the passenger-side rear tire. The exhaust system also has a dual, angle-cut exhaust tip, giving the truck a nice, "NASCAR-type" look. Overall, the truck looks, runs, and sounds great. It has a bug shield above the grille and vent visors above the windows (very handy when it’s raining, but you’d like air circulation throughout the cab). The truck also comes with Realtree AP HD seat covers from Hatchie althought the original black/gray seats underneath are in pretty good shape. The truck has 50-50 fold-down seats in the back and has four doors to access the entirety of the cab. The bed has a bolt-on Leonard liner with some scratches and wear from use. The body has some minor scrapes on the bumper corners at the back driver side, front passenger side, and back passenger side (can be seen in the pictures). This truck has a 16-gallon gas tank and gets approx. 16mpg city and 19mpg highway. This truck has never had problems starting, even in cold weather, and has always run and shifted smoothly. The 4-wheel drive and high-low range all work as they should. The sound system is the standard Ford radio and CD unit. This is a great truck for both recreational/weekend use or an everyday-driver. Priced to sell and ready for pick-up! Regarding the AutoCheck title problem report: The truck was stolen from the previous owner in Nov. 2009. The keys were lost during the theft and the insurance company could not unlock the truck to establish the actual mileage, so they guessed at the mileage. Afterward, the insurance company replaced the keys and sold the truck, which is when I bought it. The title was "cleared", re-established and transferred to me at that time. It is now legally titled, registered, and inspected in New Jersey with no issues.
