This is a very rare and hard to find '96 Honda Prelude SI with SUPER low miles on it! I bought this car about 3 years ago when it had 68K on it and I have used it on several trips back and forth from Dallas to Houston. I am a licensed car dealer but this vehicle was basically my good on gas little sports car to run around in for that period of time. When I got it, I did all the maintenance that these cars need to make sure I wasn't in any predicaments during my weekly highway traveling so here is what has been done to the car. I put a brand new timing belt and cam belt along with the full timing kit (water pump and pulleys, etc) at 68,893 miles. I also replaced the tires main relay, the distributor, the starter, and the battery to eliminate any possible issues. You will be getting a car that has been mechanically gone through by someone who does this for a living! Mechanically the car needs NOTHING with the exception of the ABS light periodically coming on then going off. There are no other warning lights and no issues AT ALL! Now for the condition of the body. I took many pictures and many close ups so check them out! First of all, the interior is pretty much as PERFECT as it can be with the only exception being a spot in the carpet from getting in and out (see pic). Other than that, there are no signs of wear anywhere! The outside has a few nicks and dings and scratches with the only real noticeable dings being on the hood and the left rear quarter panel. The front bumper cover paint is cracked. All this is in the pictures. I thought about fixing all of it and putting a mirror finish base/clear paint job on it as I know how to do all of that, but two things got in the way. First of all, I wanted to keep the car as original as possible, and secondly....I have a short attention span so it never happened. Anyways, there aren't hardly any of these Preludes still left in this kind of condition and I am sure in 6 months I will look back and wish I had never sold it...but you can't keep them all forever so here it is!
