We purchased the Metro with the intension of it being a daily driver for advertising for a business, and just never got around to getting it licensed. After storing for 18 months have decided to let it go. As you can see from the photos it is in god shape, with the expected paint bubbles here and there. As far as we know the miles are actual, and it runs like it as well. We have maintenance reciepts from two previous owners. We put a new battery in it (after for setting for about a year without being started) and it fired right up. We parked it on the corner about 3PM today (Sunday) and had several people look already (It is for sale locally, so we reserve the right to end the auction early). It really gets people's attention when going down the road. Like all Metros (I believe) it's a 'three on the tree' manual transmission, 4 cylinder engine. The heater core was removed when we got it, but we purchased another (period correct) unit to install; just have not got around to it. It does need some TLC; we don't have the original keys (previous owner rewired), wipers need work, re-upholstery job could use some detailing, and could use a good waxing. Paint looks fair, but has dulled a bit. Still a real head turner. Comes with several manuals. Easy to find parts for, as these were popular in the late 50's and early 60's.
