Early 1940s Dodge Truck I have an early 1940s Dodge truck for sale, as you can see, the body is pretty nice and straight. There is no rust at all and would make a nice start to your rat rod or restoration project. There is a dent in the roof on the rear of the cab that you can see in the pictures. I was told it was a 1940 when I picked it up, but, have since been told that it is a 1941-1947. There is no data plate on the door, so, I can not verify the exact age. · Nice overall body condition · 6 cylinder engine is pretty much all intact · Have not tried to start or roll over the engine · 2 speed rear end · Fuel tank is on the truck · Nice cab · Nice fenders · Nice running boards · Interior is gone, but, steering column and steering wheel is still there · Tires are shot · No information on the transmission, it is there, not sure if it is in good shape or not · Glass in windshield, passenger side is cracked · Glass in doors, but, it is cracked and broken in places · There is still stenciling on the front of the truck · Great piece to start with!
