1995 M-Edition MiataThis Limited Edition Miata was produced in the Merlot Mica color (color code A1Q)Comes with tan leather interior, special edition low-back seats, tan boot and top & factory BBS Wheels Special Features: Leather Nardi shift knob, factory 15" BBS wheels with high- performance tires, cut pile carpeting, M-Edition stainless sill plates, air conditioning, CD player and 4 speakers, ABS Brakes, M-Edition exterior badges, floor mats, and the Popular Equipment Package (formerly called C package) included power steering, leather-wrapped steering wheel, power mirrors, Torsen limited slip differential, cruise control, power windows, power antenna. Limited Production: Only 3,500 --- described in the press release as "limited edition" and as "special M Edition", and in print ad as "rare production". Base MSRP was: $23,530 when new! Notes: The Merlot Mica color and the Lightweight 15-inch BBS wheels are extremely popular with Miata enthusiasts. The 1995 M-Edition production numbers was only set at 3,500 units. This was the only Miata produced for the US market with special seats featuring an adjustable headrest. The back of the seats also have the Miata script pressed into the leather, this is somewhat hard to see. The lower body sills are factory painted black. I recently upgraded the top with a Sunfast Cloth Top with Glass Rear Window. The tires have plenty of tread left, brakes have recently been serviced, A/C blows cold, the car runs strong, and shows as new. If you want a rare Miata that you won't see on every street corner this IS the one to get!! Very sought after by Miata owners. I got this car last year but want to sell this as I just don't have time to drive it anywhere with my two kids taking up all my time now. Just bought a 4 seater MINI Cooper so this car is just taking up space in the garage. Need to make room for the MINI, and the wife thinks I have too many toys already anyhow. Yes the car runs and drives great, you can take this car across country no problem, I'm very confident you will not have any issues. Yes I still have the OEM factory "Merlot" hardtop, however I am selling that separately, and will give the buyer the "Option" to buy that separately upon payment for the car. I'm selling the hardtop separately as some folks never use them yet they are VERY expensive and hard to come by in the M-Edition colors, so if the auction winner does not want to buy the hardtop I will sell it locally to a Miata Club member that offered me $1200 for it.
