1967 NISSAN PATROL From around 1960-1969 only about 2000 of these rare vehicles were brought into the U.S. Market by Nissan. I’m sure only a few hundred at best exist today in the U.S., and of those...there’s can’t be many on the road that are original. In over 20 years of hunting cool cars and trucks...I’m only found about four. This 1967 Nissan Patrol is the nicest one I’ve ever found. It runs, drives and stops. It’s original down to the paint and even has three original extremely rare Nissan Patrol owners books that goes with it. The Patrol has just 87,000 original miles on it and is extremely solid. There’s only a little surface rust on the top mainly. It was removed and stored outside for awhile, while the Patrol was stored indoors. The Patrol is amazing...even all the gauges work, lights, turn signals, dash lights, original map light, horn etc. All the glass is good and the windows roll up and down. The tires are quite nice and all the seats and jumps seats are very nice! The big in-line six cyl. Motor sounds good, and I’m told its a 241 cu in. The transmission is a three speed with a two-speed transfer case...both shift tight. The clutch feels good and the brakes stop the rig pretty well. The carburetor I think needs a rebuild. I have to spray starter fluid in it to get her running. But she’ll easily drive onto any trailer...or...simply drive down and hook her up.
