Up for sale is my 1970 Plymouth GTX. The car is an original FJ5 Limelight , N96 Air Grabber car with the original Fender Tag, sorry no buildsheet. I've owned the car for a little over 2 years but recently my house went under agreement and I'll be relocating. The car was "restified" by the previous owner who had the car for 12 years. The car is an original D32 Automatic that was changed to a 4 Speed and still retains the 8 3/4 rear with 3:23 gears. The engine is a NOM 71 440 that is 30 over and runs great. TTI ceramic coated headers into a 3inch Flowmaster Exhaust system. As for the body, it was taken down to bare metal, the quarters and trunk pan were replaced and the car was painted a deep amethyst purple by the previous owner. The paint looks great but has very minor imperfections from being driven.The frame rails looks great and theres no undercoating so there are no surprises. At one time the master cylinder leaked brake fluid causing the paint to flake off on the inner fender, when I bought the car I replaced the master. The hood performance stripe is a custom paint that changes colors. The interior is very nice, seat covers, headliner, door panels, carpet, all very nice. The factory tic toc tach doesnt work but all other guages do. The Air Grabber System functions perfectly. Obviously this isnt a perfect OEM restored car, but this car is extremely sharp looking and a blast to drive at half the price.
