This is my 1962 mercury comet, in pretty remarkable condition considering the age of it. it had over 88K on it before changing the cluster out for a new full digital set from autometer. i've put less than a thousand miles on it since then. it's a full set of autometer american muscle series (sending units installed but never finished wiring it up) including the tachometer. I also put a new head on it. even though it ran well the 170 inline 6 cyl often has a problem with one of the mounting tabs for the exhaust manifold breaking off and being VERY loud. after that being replaced with a new updated head, the manifold was replaced by a clifford performance split manifold and true dual 2.5" custom exhaust with thrush welded mufflers (identical to flowmasters in every way) i have two chrome pencil tips in the trunk that go with it. also ALL the brakes have been replaced. lines, cylinders, shoes drums bearings hardware master cyl EVERYTHING. 4 new top of the line monroe shocks that also come with it. the interior other than a 5" split on the drivers but from being old the interior is in fantastic condition! that was what made me pick this car of many that were on ebay and craigs list. as far as other new goodies...... points condenser plugs wires cap rotor fuel pump breather filter, and i even put the streetfire line by msd ignition box in it, makes it run much smoother. generator is new and battery is fairly new and in great condition. Wheels are only a year old. 14" konig rewinds that look fantastic on this car. tires were new as well. the factory am radio is in tact and just disconnected. a CD and mp3 radio unit has been placed in the glove box. new speakers have been placed in the vehicle though they are all hidden and maintains original look. carburetor is also rebuilt. if you have any questions please ask! due to a non paying bit of scum i'm relisting., dont let this rare second chance at a great car pass you by! 85 mustand 302 longblock free as long as you get it out of my garage! lol on another note. i turned down 2 local sales due to letting this run it's course. this vehicle is also for sale locally and the next person to offer me 3K cash will get it. so this listing may get taken down if it sells before auction end. however, if the ebay auction ands and you are the high bidder no worries, if the auction ends on here i WILL hold it for the winner. thanks and happy bidding! shipping will be the buyers responsibility.
