Vehicle Detail

Thanks for stopping by to take a closer look at Greg's 1966 Ford F-250 Camper Special Pickup Truck. With NO RESERVE, it will be going to the highest bidder. This HD Pickup was running unti a few years ago when Greg pulled it's 351 ci engine. In the process of the engine rebuild, the block disappeard. This, after Greg had purchased necessary parts for the rebuild and other system replacements. The part cache is pictured and here's a list: 4 Raybestos wheel cylinder kits #WK20 1 Parts Master oil & grease seals #PM6954S 8 Autolite spark plugs 1 Radiator cap 1 Standard Voltage regulator #UR166T 1 Thermostat #13079 2 Master Chassis parts #K8095 (look to be engine mounts) 2 Dornon brake hoses H29927 1 Dornon brake hose H31669 1 Air Tex fuel pump gasket set #6523 2 Monroe long bore shocks #32075MM 1 Moto craft alternator #7058 1 OE Plus Performance wire set #7816 1 Federal Mogel bushing kit #7816 1 Wix set transmission filters #58920 2 Radiator hoses, one upper and one lower, #20557 and #20589 2 Fel-Pro rear axle flanges #00098 1 Fel-Pro Valve cover set #VS13049C 6 Quarts Valvoline SAE 40 motor oil 12 Quarts Valvoline Type F auto transmission fluid All parts are new, in original boxes. There is also a large container with other original components that will help in reassembling the engine - plus the 2 heads pictured in front of the hood. Original intake manifold is pictured and dual exhaust manifolds can be seen in the engine compartment. Another set of heads is in the truck bed. Buyer gets them all! The beauty of this one is that this pickup has been in Orange County all its 46 years. Greg purchased it from the original owner and its body is virtually flawless - in terms of scrapes, dents or rust. Paint is original so what you see has not been covered with Bondo, more paint or undercoat. Suface rust is visible, but it is just that. No body cancer was found. Glass is tinted and intact. Grill and front bumper look as though they would respond well to good polish job. This F-250 features an HD trailer-pulling rear bumper containing backup lights and an enclosed storage space aft if the right front door. Three Speed automatic transmision is present and operational - needing only an oil change when last running. Current condition is unknown. If you are resourceful and have a shop or a driveway, this baby offers a great opportunity to have a running workhorse for a minimal investment. And, as it is, posesses a substantial value just for parts. Whatever your choice, please be aware that we recommend seeing this vehicle and attendant parts prior to bidding to be sure you know what your money is buying. And please ask any question you may have. Location of truck and pictured parts is in Orange, CA 92866, about a mile apart and we'll be happy to arrange your vsual inspection with a little advance notice. Your trailer and a winch will be required to to load this one. Loading and transportation are the responsibility of the buyer, although storage, at the owner's current cost, may possibly be available. A PayPal deposit of $200 is required within 48 hours and payment in full within one week of auction close. Neither the vehicle nor its title will be released prior to your bank instrument clearing and cash for the balance is always acceptable. Before I get too carried away by turning this into my own sweet project, let me tell you that this F-250 belongs to my friend, Greg, who had a workable plan for it until his growing business overfilled his plate. As a life-long car lover in my mid-70's, I will occasionally list primo cars and worthwhile projects as a result of being eBay conversant. I like the auction format, believe in it, and, as a result do not offer a Buy It Now price or reveal an unmet reserve. This one, of course, will simply go to the highest bidder. So look this F-250 over, have some fun, and if you believe it has potential, bid to win, kids!
