This is a 1962 Austin Healey Sprite that is in need of a new home. The car has been sitting for many years and does not run or stop. I have looked over the car and here are my findings: · 948cc engine (I have not tried to start. I was told it ran about 8 years ago) · Smooth case transmission · Front drum brakes o 2 wheel cylinders per drum · Needs new master cylinder (non-work hydraulics) · Passenger side door has dent/crease · Missing One Headlight and marker light on the front passenger side · Front Passenger side fender is dented from the front · Driver and passenger floor plans appear to be good · The battery box has a rust hole and a rust spot on the firewall · Comes with top bow and side curtains · ¼ elliptic rear suspension · Shocks needs replacement · Parking brake does work · Seat pans are missing (seat back are there) · Small rust spot on passenger side A pillar · Does not come with key (needs new ignition switch) · All three rubber brakes hoses need replacement (they are preventing fluid to the wheel cylinders) · Comes with a Texas title, not in my name (name of previous owner from 1991), and a bill of sale Note one tire blew-out when I put air in it and thus it makes it hard to roll. I bought this car to use the drive train for a bugeye project, but I sold the bugeye and now I do not need this car now. In addition to this car, check my other auction for a complete 1275cc engine and transmission.
