Here is a 1982 Chevy K20 I bought a few months ago. It runs and drives. Brand new battery bought last weekend. The speedometer doesn't work. The window channel weather stripping is missing from the drivers door. The turn signals do not work for some reason. I checked the fuses and replaced several of the receptacles and the flasher but haven't got them to work yet. I will be installing a new turn signal switch tomorrow to see if this is the problem. The tailgate is missing and there is a gooseneck hitch in the bed. The 4 wheel drive works just fine. The tires are worn down and will probably need to be changed before too long. The truck had factory air conditioning and cruise control, but those do not work now. The power steering does not work because the previous owner took off the ac pump and brackets which are used to put tension on the power steering pump pulley. The body on this truck is rough. The rocker panel on the driver side is rusted through. The cab corners are rusted out, over the rear wheel wells there is rust through. The inside of the bed looks OK. The passenger fender was bent when someone hit a stump. I replaced the ignition switch last weekend. Tomorrow I will replace all of the instrument panel lights as they appear dim. There is an aftermarket radio in the truck hooked up to a set of 6x9 speakers behind the back seat. The dome light wasn't working, replaced the bulb and found a short in the wiring. Works now. The two bumper turn signal receptacles were missing. Replaced those. It needs the fender light plastic covers. New bumper turn signal housings.needs new front bumper and bracket. I was told it has true dual flowmasters on it, but I haven't verified. The engine is a 350 4 barrel with I believe a TH350. If you are looking for a reliable farm truck, this could be it.
