Vehicle Detail
Project, but not a Giant one. RESERVE is $1,500.... but that's NOT a buy-now.....if you win the auction at $1,500 ..... you get it for that. My old car trailer is in the weeds near the car. Not the trailer in the pictures, but quite usable. Just thought I'd tell you about it.... in case you don't have one. Local delivery no problem...and free. LOCAL means Local.... otherwise, talk to me. GOING TO HARRISBURG Monday NEXT WEEK........so freeThen and along that route. SUBJECT TO LOCAL SALE. Came with a motor and another transmission....which go with it. Currently stored out of the weather in TERRYVILLE, CONNECTICUT 06786 and can be left til spring. It is safe where it is. Horn ring chrome thing is on passenger seat. Seems like all the other shiny parts are in place. Not real rusty, but has some holes....not saying it's perfect.....but if you drove it as it is, it would turn heads. Brakes reported to need work. Exhaust too. You'll need a radiator and battery. IN CONNECTICUT OLD CARS DON'T GET TITLES (and don't think this ever got registered there anyway) so There is no title. Glad to give you a nice, notarized bill of sale. Paypal deposit within 24 hours $500, remainder any way you want, but car stays locked in until payment is completely cleared...and another week to just be certain. Cash on pickup is ok....but paypal deposit (not mailed) within 24 hours. Talk to me if you need to do things some other way. For all I care you can wait until April to pick it up and bring the money (but I still need the deposit fast). I don't know anything about Mustangs, but hear that they are worth something. We'll see. Get yourself a bargain. We aren't going to start at a dollar and play games until we hit reserve, but we're not going to have a reserve.....so bid to own it. Inspection is possible. Following is an email from Rick, who seems to be a wealth of information. Thanks Rick! George There does seem to be a warranty plate on the driver's door in the fourth picture with the door open. It has numbers on it that will tell most of the original data about the car. From what you have shown I would guess that the car was built in Dearborn around the middle to end of July. It originally had a 170 cubic inch 6 cylinder engine in it and may be the one you show in the photo. The interior has been replaced with what is called the pony interior. Although with the numbers from the warranty plate it would show what the original color was - I'm pretty sure it was black. The exterior - you say orange - was what Ford called poppy red. It appears that the car came with power brakes and automatic transmission. As for the VIN - it's 5F07U212229 - hope that helps Any more details would have to be determined from the plate numbers that I've mentioned before. Sorry if I'm going too far. Rick Payment must be cash in person, paypal, or other (mutually agreed upon before you bid) AND TOTALLY CLEARED BEFORE THE CAR MOVES. Can leave in locked starage where it is for a while if needed. Gone by mid-summer would be good. Tell me if you have a vintage CZ mx bike or '80's KDX.
