Listing this vehicle for a private individual / collector, featured in a National. television program in 2012 about collector cars. This vehicle offered for sale, can been seen in the opening scene of episode. 1985 Ferrari Straman Convertible, 4.8 liter , fuel injected v12, with 15,700 original miles on the clock. Black exterior with black leather interior , and black convertible top. This vehicle started its life as a coupe and was converted by Straman , known in the industry, as being the best, with regards to convertible conversions. This is the same company responsible for most of the daytona conversions out there today . The mileage represented is original, and consistant with all of the paperwork we have on the vehicle, including the original service manuals, all in excellent condition. This vehicle is ready for its new owner. It has been maintained in an indoor, climate controlled environment, for most of its life. I will be conservative in listing its over-all condition as Excellent. The original paint, and interior show very little wear, very pleasing to even a picky buyer. The convertible top/ back window are as new , and the undercarriage is attractive and rust free, consistant with a collector car, in a pampered environment. The car runs and drives great, with no known mechanical issues, as its always been professionally serviced. This ferrari is a rare exotic, low miles, and in excellent original condition...A v12 , thats a blast to drive, and a lot of bang, for your buck....not much else out there, to compare this too, plus doesnt have the high service price tag, of its newer, ferrari counterparts. About the listing price , if you do your due diligence, first, you will not even find this model, or example offered for sale in the u.s. market, most are in europe, and with a big european price tag. Check the ANAMERA COLLECTION website, you will see offerings up to 100k...and once again, this is an original, low mileage car.
