1974 Chevy Nova Spirit of America (SOA) hatchback. This Nova is 1 of 14,463 made with this trim package. Reason for sale: I have too projects and am scaling back. My loss is your gain. I hate to see the car sit as it is a great car. I am the 3rd title owner so all the major changes have been done by my father and myself. Interior: The interior has the red, white and blue trim package and needs refreshing. It has bucket seats in front with a center console and shifter (not the horseshoe style). Also has standard fold down bench seat in the back. As with all hatchbacks the entire back seat folds down flat for a lot of storage (a full size bicycle fits in back). The seats are white and has red carpet.The stock dash has been changed with new gauges and a new Quartz clock conversion. Body: Both of the outer wheel houses (wheel wells), quarter panels and tail panel have been replaced with new replacement panels and are ready for final bodywork. The trunk floor has also been cut out and replaced along with the hatchback. The left front fender has been changed. We cut out all the rust and replaced everything necessary so all the hard parts are done. Wiring: The entire wiring harness has been replaced with the C Haywire E-Series Wiring System. All connections have been cut, soldered and routed with the greatest of care. No more glass fuses here. The new harness has room for extra accessories and can be set up to run fuel injected engines. The Nova was apart for several months during this time. The sending unit in the fuel tank has been changed and works properly. Engine: It has a 250 cu. in. 6 cylinder with a turbo 350 three speed automatic (an odd combination, the few I’ve seen have a V8). The only thing that has been changed from original is we added an HEI electronic GM distributor. Other than the usual wear and tune up items the engine, transmission and rear end remain stock and untouched. I was driving this every day until I recently purchased a slightly newer car (22 days ago). Glass: All glass is good and the windshield is new w/ antenna inside. Tires: All great shape with full size spare. Stereo: Is a Retro Sound model one with internal amp and usb input. Original box and instructions will come with the car. Parts: I have a bunch of parts for this car including another hatchback, a new drivers door, interior skins, I also have all the chrome for this car. Inspection: This car has been a running daily driver until the beginning of this month. The inspection is still valid until the end of this month and tags run out in April.
