This auction is for a 2003 Ford Taurus SE Deluxe that was used as a police detective vehicle. It has 118,921 original miles and is a rust-free California car. The car comes with a clear California title and just passed a California smog test inspection (inspection report included). The car is sold without license plates. This vehicle is equipped with a 3.0L EFI V6 gas engine, automatic overdrive transmission, factory aluminum wheels, cruise control, air conditioning, 5-passenger cloth bucket seating, floor console with shifter, AM/FM stereo with CD player, anti-lock brakes, tilt steering wheel, remote keyless entry, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, power trunk release, power adjustable pedals, power driver seat w/lumbar, rear window defroster and dual stage air bags. The vehicle condition is very good and consistent with most used nine year old police vehicles. This car runs and drives well, has not been involved in any major accidents and still retains its original paint. The rear bumper has a scrape, the roof has some scratches and the hood insulation is torn (see photos). The tires and brakes are in good condition. Everything on the car works including the A/C. The interior is in very good condition with no tears or rips on the seats. There are three holes drilled in the lower plastic panel located under the steering column and some holes drilled inside the center console compartment (see photos). The vehicle comes with the spare tire and jack. No other parts or accessories come with this vehicle. This vehicle is owned and operated by a municipality and has always received regular preventive maintenance service. Included with the sale are all service and repair records dating back to 2003, owner’s manual and original window sticker. Scheduled inspections of the vehicle may be made prior to the close of the auction. Full payment is due within seven (7) days from close of auction. The vehicle will not be released until payment has been received and cleared. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick up and registration. We are unable to provide shipping quotes or locate/select a shipper. Vehicle must be picked up within 15-days from close of auction. If the vehicle is being sent out of the country, the buyer is responsible for completing all required paperwork. All sales are final. NO REFUNDS.
