Very nice Guards Red 1988 Porsche 944S (non-turbo) with Automatic Transmission. Car looks, runs, and drives great. A real blast to drive with outstanding and tight handling. Interior is two-tone black and tan leather. The Good: Car includes full spoiler package including rare side rocker panels, Porsche Boxster wheels, Momo Steering Wheel, New Wet Okole (wetsuit material for coolness in summer and warmth in winter on leather seats), Power seats, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Sunroof, Tinted Windows, and 10-disc CD Changer and 600 Watt Sony Amplifier. Car has a new battery, rear tires and shock absorbers. The Bad: Due to spending most of its life in Florida, the dash pad has sun-crack. The air conditioner works fine, but needs a charge. The Porsche VDO speedometer/odometer system was never very reliable. When I purchased the car, there was a mileage discrepancy of approximately 10,000 miles. I contacted the owner and was informed that one of the odometer gears had malfunctioned and everytime the car went 1/10 of a mile on the tripometer, it added 1 full mile to the odometer. He had it repaired and reset to the approximate actual miles on the car. After I purchased the car, the same thing occured. This time, an improved tripometer gear was available from an aftermarket supplier and was installed. The true mileage of the car is unverifiable because of the two tripometer gear malfunctions and will be sold mileage exempt. The odometer currently reads 115,108 and is probably close to the actual mileage. A $500 Non-Refundable PayPal Deposit is due within 24 hours. Vehicle pickup and delivery is up to the buyer, but I can pick you up at the Wilmington International Airport and you can drive her home. I have since checked and it is not. It has the base 2.5L 4 cylinder motor with 158 hp versus the 188 hp of the "S" version. I am very sorry for the confusion. Thank you.
