1965 Mustang Coupe - E2 This was a Father -Son project car that was put together over the last 8 years. Car started life as a 6 Cylinder 3 on the Tree model. We took the car completely apart down to a bare body and having the car plastic media blasted prior to paint. Car is fitted with a Mustang Depot Complete E2 Kit that is glassed in. . We then had the car repainted and began assembly. Engine compartment was sprayed at the same time to match the exterior of the car. Billet Grilles and Billet Brake Light Bezels and Fuel Cap finish off the exterior of a very clean look. We purchased a brand new Ford M-6007-X302 Crate Motor from Ford Racing. 306 Cubic Inches. We installed an Edelbrock Manifold with a Holley 700 CFM Carburetor on it. Installed an MSD electronic ignition distributor. All electronic components in the engine compartment are brand new. Radiator is aluminum 4 pass with electric fan and complete new heater assembly inside the car. Fuel is supplied from new gas tank to the motor via a Holley Electric Fuel Pump. Complete new exhaust system from the headers to the Flow Master mufflers down to the drops right before the rear differential. All motor parts are brand new as can be seen in photos. Connected it to a built C-4 remanufactured transmission with a 2800 RPM stall converter. New B & M Pro Ratchet floor shifter. New Total Control Products solid motor mounts. New drive line installed and bolted up to a fully rebuilt Ford 9" differential with 4:10 Posi -Trac gear set. About all the steering components have been replaced. New steering box attached to a Flaming River tilt wheel steering shaft. Flaming River steering wheel. New set of GrabaTrac tie rods and ends. New front coil springs and new shocks all the way around. Disc Brakes all the way around are SSBC with new master cylinder. It stops excellent. Rear of the car has new set of air shocks to adjust the ride height. Wheels are Vintage 60 10 spoke with set of Spinners. Tires are Toyo?????????????? The interior of the car has been completely replaced from the carpets, dash pad, dash components , Hanline Gauge set with electronic speedometer, new glove box cover and glove box liner, new heater controls and cables, Pioneer AM/FM CD player, New Door Panels and Handles, All new window tracks and guides, door rubber and moldings, Pony lighted door sills, kick panel front speakers, new third brake light package tray with speakers in the rear, acoustic shield behind the rear seat, new trunk and door locks and much more. Car is about 98% complete. You only need to touch up the paint in a few minor areas chipped when putting together. Can send added pics but not noticable in photos even up close. Needs a little TLC in minor paint touch up areas. Had to trim the fiberglass kit to allow for proper tire clearance and needs finishing in these areas only. Car is like new and needs a new home. Son is off to college and we just lost our interest. Car has been garage parked the whole time. Mileage on the car is 83 miles since rebuild.
