Chevelle was built in Kansas City and has cowl tag letter “L” which decodes to a “Super Sport.” This Chevelle is powered by a correct dated Big Block 396 CID Engine (engine casting # 3955272) and correct dated Muncie (M-21) 4-speed transmission, casting #3925660 and also stamped “P9A23B” which decodes( P=Muncie, 9=1969, A=January, 23= twenty third day of month, B=M-21 ). The Chevelle has a Clear “California Title” in my name and Registration is current! The Chevelle SS has a very nice and Shiny Dusk Blue paint job!!!!! The body is very straight and free from dents or rust. There is no rust located on the floor boards or trunk area! Has nice chrome Bumpers and trimmings! Original “YA” coded 14X7 Inch SS wheels with nice 215-70-14 Hoosier Radial GT tires!! Original front bucket seats and Original rear seat! Seats are clean with no tears!! Clean headliner with no tears! Clean door panels with original SS 396 Emblems!! Has New Black carpet! Chrome Hurst transmission shifter!! Clean original dash board with no cracks!! Has all SS 396 Emblems intact!! All Original Gauges!! Original interior fan Blower that is functional!! All windows function!! All lights are functional!! Wipers are functional! Upgraded Tilt Steering Colum! Has nice Chrome glove box door! Chrome Interior Heater/Blower Box!! Chrome Full front Suspension Linkage!! Chrome Upper and Lower Control Arms (chrome is showing normal road weather wear/chipping). Original front Power Disc Brakes with Chrome Backing Plates!!! Chrome Front and Rear Sway Bars!! Chrome fan shroud support!! Chrome hood hinges! Chrome Inner Wheel Wells!! The Engine is a High Performance and Balanced 396 Big Block recently rebuilt with approx 12,000 miles. It has a high performance hydraulic camshaft with a duration at .050 of 222 (Intake) & 236 Degree (exhaust) and valve lift of .500 (intake)& .505 (Exhaust) lift. Advertised cam duration is .294/.297 degrees. The Cylinder Heads are Oval Port (Open Chamber) Heads with valve size 2.06 (intake) and 1.72 (exhaust). Engine has forged TRW pistons with ARP Rod bolts!! Engine compression ratio is 9:5:1 and can be driven daily if desired. Engine has Double Roller Timing Chain! Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake manifold! Hollley 4 Barrel Street Avenger (part # 80770) 770 CFM Electric Choke Polished Carburetor!! Chrome Moroso Valve Covers with T-Handles! Chrome Edelbrock Air Cleaner! Polished Ceramic Thermal Barrier Headers with 2 ½ Inch Dual exhaust system!! New starter and battery cables!! HEI Distributor with Belden 8 MM Spark Plug Wires! The Chevelle has a correct dated Muncie (M-21) 4-Speed transmission. The main case casting number is #3925660. The side cover casing number is #3950306 and is also stamped “P9A23B” which decodes to P=Muncie, 9=1969, A=January, 23= twenty third day of month, B=M-21 (see pictures). The transmission shifts smoothly and has no oil leaks! The Chevelle has its Original 12 Bolt Differential with 3.73 gear ratio!! This Chevelle runs very nice and strong!! Suspension feels tight and drives very smooth and straight on freeway!! Can be driven daily if desired! Some chrome has road weather but should shine up with chrome polish. Temprature and fuel gauge work but do not mark accurate. Car gets a lot of compliments and has been very reliable to me. Serious bidders only!
