~ 1972 Dodge Polara Custom ~ a true California vehicle NO corrosive rust, 1 Family owned ! This vehicle floats ( drives ) down the road like a flying sofa, very comfortable and smooth. The excellent running 400 V-8 engine had the top end rebuilt 4 years ago * receipts. Installed Double roller timing gears and chain; called "the million mile timing chain." New exhaust valves, hardened valve seats. 2 barrel carburator, new battery, heavy duty radiator, new muffler and exhaust pipe~ sounds really good. A/C works great, retro-fitted to R134A gas charge. A/C came stock from factory with full time compressor operation; in this fine vehicle a toggle was placed on dash to turn compressor off when A/C not being used~Saves gas. Front disc, power brakes. Power steering. Purchased new by a Family~ the son, who is a mechanic, is allowing sale. He has kept this Dodge in top mechanical condition, has always ran synthetic oil. This motor burns NO oil. All systems on this beautiful Survivor car work, right down to the radio. Chrome front fender turn signal bullets are very cool. Title clear, registration current. Chestnut Brown vinal top oxidized yet in fine shape, no tears. Car color is called "Sand" a tan/yellow, very easy to match. Buyer receives with purchase; original 4 steel wheels with mounted tires, 6 matched original hub caps, 4 additional mounted studded tires, for winter conditions. Original complete jack, new mounted spare tire; original trunk rug and trunk in excellent shape, see pictures. Spare ignition module, voltage regulator, a few other parts included. Original 1972 Operators Manual in glove box. Disclosure's: Chrome piece for front right fender included but not attached. Dodge in minor collision many years ago. Had matching front right fender replaced, needs a slight hood/fender alignment prior to your new paint job. Frame straight, gauranteed. All glass in excellent shape except for tiny spider pit, less than 1/2" on right side of windshield; hard to notice. Pictured are 2 interior tears, 1 on drivers seat, 1 on drivers door panel, 2 cracks on dash. Dodge will need a paint job in your future. Right rear tail light missing 16" center chrome piece, again hard to notice; yet missing... Truly a magnificent, rare piece of Americana, original. A daily driver as is.
