Up for sale is a very nice Volvo 850R. I bought this car for my younger brother but he cant come up with the money so i have to sell it. I would keep it for me but i have to many cars and no where to put them so it has to go. I bought it with a bad head gasket from the second owner who only had it for 2 weeks. It didn't overheat but it started to eat coolant. I had the head completely rebuilt valve stem seals, reseated the valves, decked the head, and hot tanked the head and cam cover. I also replaced all the upper engine seals with OEM Volvo parts. I also cleaned the breather box and replaced the vacuum lines while the head was off. I also put on a new timing belt while i was in there. I also threw in a set of camshafts from a 1993 850 non turbo which have a higher and longer lift to give it some more power. All the work was done by a master Volvo technician. This car need nothing but a new owner. The brakes are good and the abs does not throw any codes. The steering and suspension is tight and there aren't any clunks or rattles. The tires are good with about 60% tread left. The engine is strong no smoke from the exhaust or any oil or coolant leaks. The transmission shifts great without any slips or banging gears. The interior looks great for being 16 years old. All the electric options work even the heated seats work. The electronic climate control works in every mode. The a/c and heat work great. The body and paint is in very good condition. The only problems are the front bumper has hit a couple of curbs and is cracked and chipped. The rear bumper has some scuffs and the rear spoiler needs a new clear coat.
