After his passing the bike was obtained and restored by another meticulous craftsman, a New Englander whose entire career was engaged in the motorcycle sport both as a competitor and as a dealer for Butler and Smith and the Triumph Corporation. Highlights of this restoration included: Stainless mufflers Original header pipes, finned exhaust clamps, steering damper, and air intake pipes. Original paint on front fender and tank. NOS front fender bridge. Tank has small dent above R.H. knee pad. Original bars and ball end levers. Airbox was resprayed. Engine is on standard bore at 16530 miles. Ring gaps are within spec. Cylinders honed during top end inspection and valves were lapped in. Valve guides within spec. Crankshaft harmonic balancer rebuilt.bike has no title. Not required to register in Ct.
