Vehicle Detail

Rare opportunity to buy a REBUILDABLE AUDI TT Quattro with a NON SALVAGE TITLE This car was crashed less that 10 days ago VIN # TRUUC28N7Y1022626 Aftermarket parts/upgrades added/performed on my 2000 Audi TT Quattro: -Phenolic spacer on intake manifold, resulting in a cooler-running engine manifold being separated from engine. A small hp gain. -Schwing (Steve Schwing) air intake manifold, with venturi MAF housing. K&N air filter (serviced less than 100 miles ago). Another small hp gain -Engine treated with Auto-Rx and then ran with Mobil 10-W40 Turbo Diesel synthetic. There is NO sludge in the engine, additionally the rear seal has no leaks. Valve cover gasket recently replaced, as well as the “half moon” plugs (not a fun or easy job) on the driver side of the engine. Engine runs cooler and more efficiently, with yet another hp gain. -Denso spark plugs. Again, more hp. -New dipstick tube (should not crack anytime soon). -4.0 bar Fuel Pressure Regulator (with the spark plugs, upgraded MAF housing, cold air intake w/K&N air filter, and turbo, this FPR becomes a necessity due increased volume of air and greater capacity to use more fuel. Even with all this, the car STILL obtained 28mpg at 70mph). Yep, yet more hp. Car dyno'd at 203hp (not too shabby for a little 1.8) -Upgraded silicone tubing for both vacuum and coolant lines. All the crappy “cloth” lines are gone. -New cabin filter. -Enhanced engine and transmission mounts (stock mounts, but with enhanced bushings. -Mark II control arms retrofitted with Mark I bushings and mounts (basically, this takes the car back to a Mark I car as Audi intended, resulting in MUCH more nimble handling). -Raxle axles (re-manufactured axles built from Porsche cores). Basically, racing-level axles. -Koni FSD struts and shocks. -New tie rods. -Brushed aluminum strut covers. -Brushed aluminum shift knob. -Engine had timing belt change at 125k, currently at 140k. UPGRADED parts installed, including metal impeller. Engine works like a dream. NO issues. -New “crack” pipe- no leaks. Upgraded (and correct) green temp sensor. -New fuel filter. -Haldex serviced with new oil and filter less than 500 miles ago. -Transmission and differential both have Royal Purple lubricant (each had 22k miles on the oil). -Spare tire intact. -Emergency first aid kit intact. -Oil pan gasket replaced at 118k miles- NO leaks. -CD player and CD Cassette intact and working fine. Radio does NOT require a code if battery is disconnected. -Battery recently de-sulphinated, resulting in strong starting capacity (along with being able to readily accept a charge). -Tires replaced at 118K miles, with over 30K miles of tread left. -Brakes replaced at 118K miles and were just inspected by Larry at Larry's Performance (in Asheville). ALL rotors have at least 40k useable miles remaining. -Rotors (front and rear) replaced at 118k miles and are in “like-new” condition. -Center console replaced in 2008 at Audi's expense. ZERO dead pixels. -ECU intact and ZERO issues. -BOTH oxygen sensors replaced in 2009, but have tool available if needed. Same deal with strut towers (have both the 30mm impact socket and Audi spreader needed to replace/remove struts). -Underside completely impervious to rust and corrosion to after-market undercoating, resulting in greatly reduced road noise. In short, this is a dream car for someone to either rebuild, OR part out. The after-market parts purchased were ALL top-of-the-line and installed with the idea of making the car super reliable and fun to drive (which it was). After reaching operating temperature, this car was always driven like the Devil himself was chasin' me and it performed flawlessly. My ONE driving mistake resulted in the car drifting into wet grass covered in wet leaves and that was all it took. My loss will be someone else's considerable gain 828 380-9708
