1946 Plymouth Woody MUST SEE! Awesome original Southern California Woody wagon! This car is being relisted because of a non paying bidder. This beautiful Woody is loaded with surfing history! It amazes people when they see it in person. It just feels like history! It has its story posted in the rear windows in the form of old luggage decals placed in the window each time it made a trip. This car is a dependable driver and you can drive it anywhere! It is a nicely operating and complete woodie with current safety inspection and registration. I have always parked it inside. It has new paint in the most beautiful original burgundy color (over hood, fenders and splash guard (which were all accident and rust free sheet metal), new paint on the dash and interior fittings, entirely new brakes (new shoes, cylinders, break lines and master cylinder), rebuilt emergency brake, 5 wide whitewall tires in very low mileage condition, lots of new chrome plating, absolutely beautiful and original stainless steel grill, and a upgraded 12 volt electrical system. Original wood is not perfect but looks really nice with a small amount of damaged wood nicely filled with wood filler. It was undercoated in the past and has been recoated recently, floorboards had a few small holes that have been well patched, painted and undercoated. The rest is pretty much the same as it was when it was a real surf wagon and in nice condition for its age. It has all 3 bench seats with the original vinyl covering with very few tears. Passenger front door window has a crack and there is one cracked window in left rear (I haven’t replaced it as it has some of the historic decals). It is very original and complete with original dash, steering wheel, interior and all of those cool and important woody parts and fittings. It has a Plymouth 6 cylinder flathead engine that starts easily every time, exterior sun visor, original gauges, original radio (not working), original clock (not working), gas gauge is not accurate, spare WWW tire & hubcap. This car could also make a perfect resto rod as it is very cool! Car is located on the beautiful Island of Maui, Hawaii.
