You are bidding on a beautiful 1978 Pontiac Trans Am, I found this car stored in a garage for 18 years (i have included the picture from when I found it to prove this) this car is in 100% original shape it has the original paint, motor trans and rear, etc.... This car was a special order and the original owner had deleted the option for the hood bird and all other stickers.(see pictures of the build sheet) When I got the car home I drained all the fluids, cleaned the old gas out and blew the lines clean. After putting a new battery in, new fluids and new gas the car fired right up. The car ran and drove but certainly needs a good tune up. The only issues I see is that the car needs a passenger window as someone broke it long ago and the radiator leaks ( I have a replacement that goes with the car). I have had many of these cars and this by far is one of the cleanest I have seen, the paint is 100% ORIGINAL and still shines its not show car quality but it is nice. A cat that lived in the garage pee'd on the hood and the roof causing the clear coat to break down (ONLY ON THE HOOD AND ROOF). The frame, under carriage, floors trunk are PERFECT NO ROT..The truck actually looks brand new still sporting the original spare tire and the inflation can for it. I really went thru the under carrige as these cars are know to rot out and it is very costly to fix, as I said this one is perfect and I took pictures to prove this. The interior is immaculate, the only issue I see is a droopy headliner which is very simply to glue back up, the front and back seats, doorpanels, dash, console are in EXCELLENT shape. The body is also very very clean only a couple spots where you see any surface rust and its very small, the quarters, rockers, fenders, doors, undersides of the doors and the rear panel are all PERFECT and all ORIGINAL both on the outside and inside (see pics)... The original owner had ordered the car without the stickers and had some paint the hood brid and the stripes in 1978 soon after he bought it , with a little rubbing compound I am sure this would come off. I also have all the original paper work when he bought the car new.(build sheet, customer info sheet, warrenty info, tire and spare tire info) This car was the original owner and second owners pride and joy as you can tell from the shape this car is in. In 1978 there was no base coat clear coat, its the laquere paint that it went thru. To be clear THIS CAR HAS ITS ORIGINAL PAINT and NEVER had ANY PANELS REPARIED OR REPLACED.
