Vehicle Detail
This is a 1997 Ford Ranger that has a solid 4 cyl engine and 5 speed transmission. It has great power and even better fuel economy. The absolute worst mileage that I had seen was over 26 mpg and that was hauling 1000 pounds of lumber (which it carried well) through Steven's Pass. There are no leaks and no mechanical issues at all. It starts immediately and runs very well all of the time. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. It has a brand new windshield, and a nice CD stereo plus 4 great speakers. The body is very good for any vehicle its age with nice deep shine and minimal blemishes. There are minor dings and scratches, but it looks good for a 1997 truck. It has tie downs in each corner of the bed and a nice bed liner to keep things new looking. There is a small dent in the front bumper that is barely noticeable, but I have an extra bumper that I bought to replace it that is included. There are only 4 bolts to replace the bumper, so its a quick fix, but you can see from the photos that it is nice looking as it is, which is part of the reason I haven't gotten around to replacing it yet. Again, I am including a replacement front bumper that includes brackets, ready to install by changing 4 bolts. Manual steering. NO RUST. No air condition. Great heater. Nice rear chrome step bumper. Go to NADA's Website and look up the value on this truck. It lists for $3350. This one is clean and strong with a great look and it can haul a heavy load, unlike older versions of the Ford Ranger. This one is a true half ton pickup with great fuel economy. I would consider trading it for a larger boat with a fiberglass hull. The tabs are up to date and the truck is ready to drive anywhere.
